For once, a truly “feel good” story

I met Jaye Holly when we went to Marist College together in the early 1980s.  After graduation, we lost touch, but we’re now becoming reacquainted thanks to the power of the internet.

Jaye got quite the blast from the past recently as her long-lost high school yearbook from her sophomore year was returned to her after a 30 year absence through the diligence of a retiring sheriff’s department captain who wanted to clear what some might think to be even the most insignificant of cases from his desk before packing it in.

To Jaye, Captain Jeffry Thompson brought a very significant part of her past back into her life, and she’s quite grateful.
