No Independents!
Indies insist on voting.
No independence.

This comes from yesterday's voting here in Arizona where those not registered with the Democratic Party or the Republican Party couldn't vote in the party primaries. Many Independent voters showed up at the polls anyway and were turned away. If they insisted on voting, they were given provisional ballots to fill out which were accepted by poll workers who told the voters their votes would not count.

I'm a registered Independent voter in Arizona. I've known for weeks that I was not eligible to vote in the primaries here unless I decided to register in one party or another (many did), but that goes against the reasons I registered as an Independent. I don't want any part of the party machines.

I had no problem sitting out the vote yesterday, but just try to stop me from voting this November.
