Springtails are in the air

So, our fleas may not be fleas after all. We had our regular pest control service yesterday, and the tech was able to capture a couple of specimens of whatever's been hopping about in our front yard. It appears they may be springtails, bugs that look and act like fleas but don't bite except in rare cases. They may have come with the mulch we put around the tree and bushes, which is just such exciting news.

So, he put down some chemicals and they seem to be gone, but we need to give it a few days to be sure.
