Hot Hot Hot!

It's November. Fall. Autumn. Not summer anymore.

Then why is the high temperature for today and for the first few days this week looking like record or near-record highs? We're projected to be in the 90s for through Thursday at least.

Yes, I'm sick of the heat. Really sick of the heat. I know, too bad, too sad. You live in a desert, you pay the price.

Normal temps this time of year are 20 degrees cooler than what we'll likely experience today. I think that justifies my whining. This is supposed to be the brief time of the year that going outside won't fry your brain or chill you to the bone here in the Phoenix area. Well, maybe to the surface muscles.

As folks here like to say, at least we don't have to shovel sunshine. Of course, when they say that it certainly sounds like they're shoveling something.

I completely feel for you, with the heat. There's no way that I could take it. As far as not having to shovel heat goes, well -- shovelling snow is fun! And it's not hot! So, if we ever get any snow this winter, you and PJ are very warmly (or even cool-ly) invited up to shovel!

That's very sweet, Maureen. Hey, I enjoy shoveling snow, but PJ just hurts to the bone when she's cold, so it looks like we'll be staying put here in Phoenix for a long time.
