Five weeks after surgery, after we finally found the right combination of drugs to get her to and from the clinic without having a major meltdown in the car, Stevie came home without a cast. She healed up a week quicker than expected.

A few weeks hence, and she's running about chasing her sister and mom without so much as a limp. She holds her leg out to the side a bit when she sits, and that may be permanent, but she has regained her muscle tone and fur and has put her trauma behind her.

She is, however, sick of me taking pictures of her.
