Well, Stevie got through surgery just fine. In fact, it went much faster than expected.

Now comes the fun.

She's going to be in a cast for the next 5-6 weeks, and not just any cast. The thing's about half as long as her body.


We're borrowing a kennel to keep her in during her recovery. May also keep her sister in there with her so she has a friend through her recovery. We'll see how that goes.

Stevie's trying to be active, but that's not working out very well as she has this club to drag around behind her for the time being. But, once this is gone, she'll be back to her old self within short order.

We still can't figure out what she cut her leg on in the first place, though we have found some small stains resembling blood near our new recumbent bike. Just a couple of drops. Not sure if that's related, but it is possible that she cut herself somehow there, then jetted into the bedroom to bleed all over the bed.
