Nine hours ago, I posted here that I believed CBS would fire Don Imus.

Well... (CNN)

Not that it took a lot of intelligence to predict that since advertisers were pulling out and Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Oprah Winfrey were fanning the flames, but there you go.

The man's been in radio since the 1970s. Will he find a new radio gig, or just hang it up? That I don't know, but I do know he's not done yet.

I can't help but agree with Don Imus that he's apologized enough for his stupid remarks on his stupid show (his words I'm paraphrasing here).

Now, when can we expect an apology from Jackson and Sharpton for convicting the white boys on the Duke lacrosse team against whom all charges of raping a black woman have been dropped because the stripper's story kept changing and never quite checked out to begin with?

What's that? Never? Thought so.
