Just got back a bit ago from visiting Cagney at the hospital for her last night there. The vet there was very happy we were taking her home in the morning after visiting with her new vet on the way.

Cagney got some lap time tonight and, for the first time in a week or so, took a stroll around the room. She's very wobbly, a result of some muscle tone loss and neurological issues, but she's starting to see better, is making every effort to walk around and even (unsuccessfully) jump up on things.

She also was finally relaxed and content enough to purr!

She's got a long road ahead, but her recovery is well underway and the prognosis is good. She may never come all the way back to where she was, but our baby is still coming home!
