On the recommendation of people in the area with diabetic cats and our regular vet, PJ moved Cagney this morning to a specialty clinic in north Phoenix. She's now in guarded condition in the emergency clinic and they'll be monitoring her very closely.
The clinic has visiting hours and we'll be there this evening and may bring pieces of clothing Cagney can cuddle in to let her smell something familiar.
She's in very rough shape and even the transport was touch-and-go, but she's in good hands. If anyone can bring her back from the brink, it's the new clinic. They come highly recommended even by our regular vet who said they were the best available in the area.
