Fall of the Faux Fireplace

Well, we didn't quite get all the demo done in the house yesterday, but PJ did get some frustrations out by tearing apart a good portion of the fake fireplace.



To the left is the very sturdy frame which held the fake fireplace/entertainment center (they had their TV embedded in the chimney portion). To the right is the fake brick laminate stuff they used for the shell.

I'm planning on recycling all of this and the shelving units that flanked the "fireplace" into cat litter pan covers and a cat climbing structure of some sort. Should be fun to construct and a lot of fun for the cats once they're all finished.
